Yes, finally you can spam your friends on IRC or generate funny textbanners on MorphOS with this funny tool. Of course you can download it here. And a funny screenshot with MorphOS Shell output can be found here. And that's how it looks like when you spam your friends in IRC channels. Look here.

It's a really old tool. I've used it 4 years ago on my AmigaOS3.x .
It's really CPU eating application, so it's good to see now we have a MorphOS native port! Congratulations! Nice work!

Hmm... does it come with an arexx script? Or will it be implemented as AmIRC plugin someday? This way it would really become useful.

@galaxy:
look to the homepage of RobinC to see how to code AmIRC plugins (it's not that difficult i think). Sorry have the URL not here, just look to morphos-news.de and check for the links of the AmIRC plugins.

I'm looking at doing a plugin with this ability - might make it into my text.amiplug. I wouldn't use the real figlet code (I never do ;-), but it would have the same effect. I'm also considering doing a settings page for it, so you can edit the fonts used directly. Not sure how well it would work, but it's a lot easier than trying to create the fonts by hand ;-)

What faster way to earn a /kickban than using this on an IRC channel.

Should help remove the mindless morons from IRC for a bit, making IRC better for the rest of us.

Aaargh!!! Atleast in the IRCNet you would be kickbanned from many channels if you use tools like that :)
