The ill-fated Alive Mediasoft are back, under the name Alive World. On their website they are selling Mac games, DVDs and, funnily enough, R'n'B music. In addition, MacWorld claim in their news item that "the company plans to ship a CD compilation of games called Amiga 4 Mac. It will be a collection of classic Amiga games and an Amiga OS emulator."

In reply to Comment 25 (Alexander Holland):
so much talk of the trading standards and ELSPA, two highly useless organisations who don't wish to deal with the likes of Alive unless they are ripping off the establishment. Sorry but ELSPA (and most Western governments who support them) don't give a shit about anything but their profits. They are a group of multi-national publishers led by EA and are the public face to a very nasty exclusive organisation that goes way beyond simply the software industry. The very fact they won't do anything about Alive should tell you something. % of PC publishers who are ELSPA members 99%, % of Amiga publishers who are ELSPA members 0%. Hmmmm.
Learn a tough lesson in life. There is a whole community of people who control the wealth in places like Britain, it is a legal, government-endorsed mafia. Where this doesn't exist like in Russia you get the real mafia. So take your pick. If you don't like companies who rip you off openly then buy a PC and get ripped off without knowing it :)
