Taken from Frogger homesite:
After being informed that Frogger breaks GPL license, Ive removed the two plugins based on GPL code. Also, Ive put the acknowledgement note on www pages. The source code for LGPL based plugins are now also available.
Moreover, Frogger goes Open Source, cvs with source code and other goodies should be ready within few days.

Frogger goes Open Source : Comment 35 of 37ANN.lu

In reply to Comment 13 (Elwood):
...why wait until now for doing plugins for MooVid etc?? why
use Frogger code? get LGPL code such as mplayer and use that.
as for people thinking they can get 'free' versions...as they
can get the code.... well, the licence states you must open
your code...for 'reasonable cost' - so it doesnt have to go
on a web page...he could ask 2 or 3 euros for a CD with source
on it :-)
but it also states the code should be open...well...it DOESNT
say that the code must be easily compiled or READABLE.
whos saying what nice development environment must be used to
get the current code to compile? ;-)
a small 'mangle' util would turn the code into a still compilable
but unreadable by normal standards....drop comments, really tighten
those nicely tabbed loops etc.
