GTI and e.p.i.c. cooperate on Pegasos distribution : Comment 38 of 55 | ANN.lu |
Posted by greenboy on 04-Feb-2003 17:16 GMT | catogen, about the worst i could say about morphos is that it inherits the instability of the amiga apps it runs. as a newbie user i opened lots of apps at CES and ran many windows and processes concurrently. MorphOS seemed to do as well as my amigas: that is to say if the apps were stable apps it stayed up. actually i never could crash ambient or the OS itself, and the apps that were part of the bundle ran well.
unfortunately, i could use voyager only to browse through offline sites as many of the pavilions did not have internet connections available. but it didn't seem to resemble the mess comments here on ANN had led me to believe. I was rather shocked it didn't have CSS yet, though. |
