Nolan Bushnell now member of Phoenix : Comment 35 of 41 | ANN.lu |
Posted by gary_c on 06-Jun-2003 02:05 GMT | In reply to Comment 34 (-.-): And it's funny how you ignore the 95% of greenboy's post that talk about Genesi's positive points and then pick out the one negative mention of Amiga to conclude that Genesi can only get by through slamming others.
Really, we'll be happier when all these companies have their full range on display for everyone to see and use. I don't think anyone associated with Genesi is especially threatened by that prospect, at least based on the reactions to the Pegasos motherboard and MorphOS we've seen so far. Let them go head-to-head on product price and performance. If Genesi can't even hold its own against an AmigaOne, how will it possibly survive in the general market? Personally, I hope the AOS on Tour coming up will be a great success, because these guys have worked hard and deserve that. But give Genesi its due also, because there are a lot of good people behind that effort as well.
