Yes, that's correct, those sources are based on anonymously donated code, which was maintained and tweaked by Teknique, and later by me, optimizing the RealAudio2 codec abit, making a better player, and finally adding RealAudio3 support (and improving the player even more. ;) )...
Teknique owns honeypot, and I've taken over the maintaining of the audio page since quite some time now .. unfortunately I haven't had much time for it lately because of other projects which take most of my time nowadays, or I would have added more stuff there these days (interesting codecs pop up all the time)... :P
