Its Time for a New Amiga Magazine - Its Time for Amiga.org Magazine : Comment 55 of 58 | ANN.lu |

Sounds good to me. :)
As for a CD, I thought that might be a drawback (lack of content), and with broadband, what's the point? But not everyone has access to broadband. Then there's pictures/vids, Aminet stuff, and even imagine old Amiga.org threads on disc. Lots of knowledge (and insanity ;) ) is locked up in there.

> If that's an Amiga based system fine, and if not that's equally fine.
> "Best tool for the job". There can be no other criteria.
How could a person inspire confidence in an "Amiga" solution if OUR "solution" is to use an alternate platform? If Genesi or Hyperion go make TV commercials, you'd find it acceptable to edit the sound and video with linux or mac?
When do we use the equipment WE develop?
We're here because we think WE have the best tech for any purpose. Let's prove it, by using it.
And I am neutral, whether it's a PegaSOS or AmigaXL etc., doesn't matter to me, for the mag production.
As long as all of the systems/SW used gets mentioned in the same sized type (and if logos are printed the same size applied to all) on the editorial page. (Or the page with address and circulation info.)

Hi Anonymous (62.42.228.20) from Comment 51
Please explain. I asked a couple questions and made some statements. I'm not opposed to this, just have some concerns. What is it that you didn't like?
Or do you just feel that way about what I say based on my overall commentary on ANN.lu?
Amiga! We're here, because we CAN do it better! |
