The author of A/NES CGFX has decided to cease further development and is realising a final version today. A/NES CGFX is a NES-emulator for 680x0 based Amiga-systems. It emulates the basics of a Nintendo Entertainment System (8-bit), and does it pretty well. Full speed emulation is not unusual even on slower Amigas. Except AmigaOS, it requires a 68020 processor or better, some Fast-mem and CyberGraphX v3+ (And yes, it even runs on P96).

In reply to Comment 12 ([JC]):
I'm sure Steffen is pretty much aware of the sales figures of his
work, which are currently zero for the OS4 platform (if there is any),
and will be close to zero in the future (if OS4 is ever released).
Time works against us all, and my guess is that OS4 ends as a
worthless effort for about a dozen elitist beholders of the true
source code.

In so far an appearance like this ("I make my work compatible to OS4
only, you suckers, nyuk nyuk") is purely suicidal and pathetic. It
could be generously forgiven as some kind of compensation for years of
fruitless work, wouldn't it hurt us all alike. I'm sure there are ways
to get out of contracts with Amiga Inc, as they can't defend anymore.
It must be matter of pride and prejudice that we are taken hostage of,
as it always was the case since the demise of Commodore. Thank you,
Steffen, for generously supporting OS4. Great work :)
