Where's KMOS? How come they arn't coming forward and speaking to us? It's been a year and they've said nothing. Why is Amiga Inc doing all the talking like "KMOS will honor all contracts" for them, why doesn't KMOS say this themselves? it doesn't matter what Amiga Inc say, as they don't own the OS anymore, I want to hear from the horses mouth!

So... where's KMOS? : Comment 71 of 115 | ANN.lu |
Posted by MarkTime on 19-Mar-2004 18:56 GMT | In reply to Comment 70 (Interesting): HEY WOW, I love that argument...sounds real good.
couple of points though, MorphOS is not owned by Genesi.
I was always under the understanding that it was a team of people, who have
some kind of relationship with them, but its a volunteer group that maintains control of the direction of the OS. If this is wrong please correct me.
Also, the pegasos was not a product, just a plan, at the time all this was going on...I believe even the peg I became a reality later, and definately the Peg II, which is an entire re-design became a reality later.
Just because thendic went out of business,w ouldn't meant he people that used to work their owe all of their FUTURE efforts to the old company.
So....I did like your argument,b ut I'd need some clarificatin to see if it really holds water or if the comparison to Amiga, Inc. is genuine in any way. |
