If computers were made by car manufacturers, who would be making the Amiga, Pegasos and PC respectfully? Is the PC a Lada or one of those Soviet cars? ;)

Pegasos = Peugeot or Studio Pininfarina

(Peugeot is known for they are makers of low priced good-aggressive-designed cars of a little-medium luxury.).

(Studio Pininfarina instead is is known for mocking up of existing cars from other factories...
...And well... This is the real condition of the Peggy. A good assembly of existing CPU and existing parts such as chipset and PCI bus, coming from other factories on to a good new motherboard made by good computer designers.)

Or at least we could imagine the makers as a good japanese or corean firm.

(Good features at a reasonable price).

Amiga (intended as AmigaOne) = Toyota

(Because Toyota is known to be makers of luxury cars for the well-off people who believe they are rich and really they aren't.)

[i.e. cars overpriced compared to the real features they offer.]

PC = General Motors

(Because everybody in the world knows the poor quality of the cars coming from USA factories in great numbers, low priced, and aimed to a large-market.)

or at least FIAT.

(Because Fiat cars, which are economic cars, lack of final touches and quality in design)

[Design quality in Fiat went off miserably during the last 15 years. Only with New Panda car model they inverted this bad attitude in quality.].

[Note: Some pre-assembled PC's, marked with known firm logos, are Wolkswagen.].

Apple = Mercedes Benz or AUDI

(Because these are the makers of half-luxury and luxury cars. But intended as cars which are heavy in weight, and overpriced compared to the real features they could offer.)

And talking of software as gasoline, Microsoft could be imagined as russian gasoline (gasoline of poor quality), all extracted and manufactured in a lamish form by russians, and finally sold by russians (again). Russians who were adviced from texan business-consulting firms to raise the price exagerately.

LOL... :-D
