Specs: Screen Size: 240x320, 65k color, 3.5" reflective-TFT; and Screen Size: 176x220, 65k color, 3" reflective-TFT. He also wrote as has already been stated, that he's still looking for people who will develop commercial-quality software for the PDA's.
More details at Amiga.org here."

Amiga: two AmigaDE based PDA's : Comment 13 of 13 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Alex Klauke on 13-Mar-2001 23:00 GMT | In reply to Comment 12 (Anonymous): Well, I simply do not _know_ anything. There are many announcements these days
concerning new (colored) PDA devices. Sharp, Sony, Handpsring, etc.
What I read has not even been an official announcement by Palm, it is only a
news item from normally 'well informed circles' (heise.de/newsticker, german),
ya know?!
But that was the only piece talking of 'reflective display', just like Amiga.
And if it is a company able to aim for 7 million units sold this year, the
companies of choice are, ehh, not that wide spread. So it does not mean
anything, but..
But however I'll happily take the surprise AmigaInc. will be presenting on
April, 1st as it is (only) the beginning of a (possible) new era... (little
exaggeratin', i know, yeah, something's in the air ;-)
Nuff explained?? :-) |
