They obviously don't know what they are talking about otherwise they would have made the connection with the Nvidia statement and the fact that OS4 won't be getting drivers for Nvidia cards.
It's just a practical situation where amigans are mainly interested in graphics cards that will be supported by the OS.
And if you say you've seen this card and what it can do then I believe you 100%.
So I don't understand all this talk about a hoax. Then again they don't know you so once again they are on unshakey ground.
Pretty bad journalism for a newsite imho.
