Tag items need an extension anyway. They're unsuited also for holding i.e. double values, and they are also not capable of hold 64 bit values unless you define tham that way. However, as soon as storage to disk or size (like in the display database) is concerned, you might get into trouble.
However, using ULONG as IPTR was the only thing that was required to get the demos running ;-) |
