As many of us already understood, the G3 based "supercomputer" to which CoyoteFlux referred in their interview was a bPlan Pegasos. They've got some more infos at THENDIC-France.

Thendic France announce worldwide Pegasos reseller program : Comment 54 of 70 | ANN.lu |
Posted by JGen on 13-Apr-2002 08:31 GMT | In reply to Comment 52 (Johan Rönnblom): Look it's so simple that even pro/anti
MOS/Amiga/bplan/eyetech/hyperion fanatics should be able to
understand it (although David proved otherwise)
Eyetech accpted ORDERS up to a certain date. They then placed an
order for AmigaOneG3SE boards with their manufacturing firm in the far
east. The boards people ordered are being made and shipped to eyetech
as we speak. Eyetech will then send out those boards to the people
who ORDERED them and take the payment for the boards and shipping when
they do NOT before.
no PRE anything invovled :)
Think of it like eating out, you place your order, they make your
food, they give it to you, you pay for it.
And tommorow Uncle JGen will explain the stock market using farmyard
animals :)
*sigh* |
