As many of us already understood, the G3 based "supercomputer" to which CoyoteFlux referred in their interview was a bPlan Pegasos. They've got some more infos at THENDIC-France.

Thendic France announce worldwide Pegasos reseller program : Comment 67 of 70 | ANN.lu |

Ok let's go through this step by step
Firstly where the hell do you think the dealer get's the mice from? He
doesn't just pull them out of his arse. The dealer needs to buy from
the people who make the mice. Now the dealer may currently not have
any stock of mice in so they have to ORDER some from the factory.
This is what is happening now.
Secondly AmigaOnes have been produced before (who do you think made
the prototype?), the company has produced PPC motherboards before for
various clients. Eyetech is just another client with a certain
spec.
In the real world that some of us here live in, this is a very common
way of doing business.
I give up..... |
