Here's the homepage of a new open source MPEG4-based video codec, called 3ivX. It's to be launched on December 15th. Amongst other things, Amiga support is promised.

Otherwise it's usually quite jerky.. I don't think that I get 25fps with this
setup but it's ok nonetheless.
I don't think it would be possible to play them on currents Amiga PPC cards
at a reasonnable speed though.. |
