Due to censorship by Argo the thread is locked but it is interesting to see a major Anti Amiga Inc webmaster turn in to a Genesi attacker and a certain website defender.

Interesting thread on Amiga.org : Comment 166 of 382 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Darrin on 07-Sep-2004 06:49 GMT | In reply to Comment 164 (gary_c): >Does this kind of exaggeration do any good?
Exaggeration? How blind are you? Don't try and gloss over the obvious actions of your "chums" with this BS bucket of white-wash.
>If you really want improvement and aren't just posting for the fun of
>throwing insults, then why not elevate the level of discussion instead?
By "elevating the discussion", as assume you mean "ignore the Blue Trolls so they can attack the Red Camp freely". You'd like that wouldn't you.
>It seems to me that if there is any "constant vendetta against Amiga..."
No, with your head burried in the sand, you obviously can't see the same, tired old posts from the same boring individuals every time something pro-AmigaOne/OS4 or AMigaworld.net is mentioned.
>(and I'm not aware of many people who even care that much any more),
You're right there. Most of them have buggered off to their PC's and Macs. Who can blame them.
>it is matched if not exceeded by the paranoid screeds of some of its
>supporters.
Ah, so if you feel the Red Camp is under attack then you're "parnoid" whereas if you feel the Blue Camp is under attack then you're seeing things as they are.
Thanks for clearing that up. Forgive me if I'm not convinced.
>As far as reasonable communication is concerned, there's plenty of room for
>improvement on all sides.
Yes, there is. So why don't you make a start by either calling in the attack-dogs or tellig them in public that their actions are neither appreciated or wanted. Or are you just towing the party line of swinging a sword with one hand and waving an olive branch with the other?
It amazes me that you can be the voice of reason at times and then turn into the defender of filth. Which is the real you? Which is the real Gary_C and which one is simply "following orders"? |
