We are very happy to let you all know that Alan Redhouse will visit us at the AmiGBG 2004 fair. Alan will tell us about what is happening around the AmigaOne hardware and what we can expect further on this year.
PayPal has been integrated into the ticket ordering system, so it´s now possible to pay your ticket in an easy way if you live outside Sweden. We celebrate this by having a DVD movie lottery among those who pre-pay their AmiGBG 2004 tickets!

AmiGBG Update: Eyetech & Paypal : Comment 242 of 303 | ANN.lu |

I guess we shall have to agree to disagree. Yes, threads are locked at times pre-emptively. I appreciate that not everyone wants that but it's the way we do things at Amigaworld and as I have said most members welcome it. - Mainly for the peace and quiet I guess :)
That's a shame for those of us whe are "Pro-AmigaOS4" that would like to participate in juicy stimulating and controvercial discussions :D ... Where do WE go? :( (so far, only Ann.lu welcomes us)
If you are not happy with Amigaworld, then I invite those who share your disatisfaction and have your account(s) closed down.
I'm dissatisfied with Amigaworld.net's stuffy atmosphere, but me asking to have my account shut down seems a little childish. It's not like you guys pissed me off or anything, it's just that I can't find any worthwhile discussions to participate in there.
If it's not for you, it's not for you.
As to your point about Morphzone, I would suggesat that perhaps the reason why you don't have any censorship/locked threads on there is because people already know what the site stands for. I for one wouldn't go there, it isn't for me given my prefered platform of choice.
Maybe. I just don't think platform of choice should have that much to do with it. I hate surrounding myself with others that agree with me. Shit gets boring real quick as we try to find something to talk about. :)
Like I said right after I noticed what my first post looked like, I wasn't even really talking about Amigaworld.net, I was throwing a little criticism at Amiga.org, and Amigaworld.net just was the closest thing I could grab to throw at them :) |
