We are very happy to let you all know that Alan Redhouse will visit us at the AmiGBG 2004 fair. Alan will tell us about what is happening around the AmigaOne hardware and what we can expect further on this year.
PayPal has been integrated into the ticket ordering system, so it´s now possible to pay your ticket in an easy way if you live outside Sweden. We celebrate this by having a DVD movie lottery among those who pre-pay their AmiGBG 2004 tickets!

AmiGBG Update: Eyetech & Paypal : Comment 94 of 303 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Christophe Decanini on 29-Jan-2004 15:57 GMT | In reply to Comment 56 (Mikey C): "Nope all you have achieved is alienating people against what was once a great concept.
Between yourself and people like Randy Vice all you have done is turn people away who may have been more than happy to come on board and help envangelise AROS. PR wise you lot are a disaster. "
This is funny to see how I feel exactly the contrary.
For me Fabio comments and what Randy is doing (TeamAROS) is what raised my interest in AROS.
Also my understanding of AROS is that building a highly portable, well designed OS is/was more important than spending time on popular (time consuming) things.
Maybe the AROS team understand that to do nice PR and evangelising you need to have a product ready first. It looks that your beloved AmigaInc failed to see that. |
