And the total is.. 940. Not bad.
"Countdown to the draw: The promotion has ended. Coupon count may still rise as third party dealers submit their sales. Winners will be announced soon."
.. So, we could well make the 1000 mark, well done people, I hope you all order AmigaOnes as soon as they are available :)

The "I Am Amiga" promotion has ended! : Comment 88 of 134 | ANN.lu |

Actually AInc doesn't have enough manpower to do anything with those forums, they're exactly as moderated as ANN. The main ones that I check are either buried in Amiga vs anti-Amiga flamewars or just dead and buried (last post: 16 July... 2001), a notable exception being DE forums which just have the same posts over and over again....
1. I hear that DE requires a disk drive. My { VIC 20, BBC Model 'B', ZX81 } doesn't have a disk drive, shouldn't there be a feature that lets us load from tape? I do have the 32Kb expansion pack, so I have plenty of RAM
2. My { PS2, microwave, IBM mainframe} runs Linux, so presumably it will be a big market for AmigaDE. When can I buy AmigaDE for that platform?
3. These games aren't so bad, but the best Amiga game was {Lemmings, Turrican, etc} when will this be available for AmigaDE?
4. AmigaDE is proven to be 80x faster than a Pentium. When Bill McEwen has all the gold in the world, will he tell us the cheat code for an A500 which makes it do 3D graphics even better than the lastest Voodoo card from 3Dfx ?
[All posts are exagerated for the purpose of humour, any resemblance to real deluded morons is incidental and not a good reason to sue me] |
