4 New Filings in the Thendic Electronics, et al v. Amiga Inc Case : Comment 219 of 250 | ANN.lu |
Posted by samface on 23-Dec-2003 11:56 GMT | In reply to Comment 207 (Matt Parsons): >I notice you only want to believe Rich when it supports your personal view of
>the world :D
Again (how many times do one need to explain before people understand?), the issue never was about wether Rich is trustworthy or not. It was about standard journalism ethics and proceedings which he still as of today refuses to comply with.
Furthermore, the information about Amiga Inc.'s financial status that your statement was based on comes from Rich Woods, I was merely pointing out the contradiction in your theory if we are going to use Rich is our source of information.
>Anyway, It has not to do with any conspiracy, I'm just saying that IF Mr
>McEwen had set up a comapny (for the sake of argument, lets call this company
>Amiga Inc.)...
>Then got investors to invest $10 Million (for example) in it.
>Then he put $5 million (of some such figure) it to a Swiss bank account.
>Then he drove Amiga Inc. into the ground...
>Then Amiga Inc. were declared bankrupt...
>The would walk away with a nice tidy sum...
>
>However you look at it, there are only two possible reasons for the situation
>we are in now. Either his an idiot on a scale that the world has never before
>seen... or my theory above... which do you think Sammy?
So that's the game you want to play, huh? How about this: Amiga Inc. was just another victim of BBRV's shady business. Just like they did with Thendic, they are trying to put Amiga Inc. out of business in order to take over all their assets. Maybe Amiga Inc. had a sane business plan and were doing well until BBRV showed up and started to parasitcly marketing their products on Amiga Inc.'s brand and stole business deals and partners right before Amiga Inc.'s nose. As you can read in the documents supplied by the defendant in this case, BBRV has been quite busy all over the net to spread anti-propaganda about Amiga Inc., which may have been (and probably is) one of the major causes for why Amiga Inc. has had such problems with fund raising and getting lasting business deals.
The third option that was missing in your theory was; could Bill McEwen be a victim rather than a fool or an evil scammer? I'd say there is just as much plausability in my theory as yours and one might ask oneself, is this going anywhere what so ever? No. So, since you've had your little fun of evil conspiracy speculations now, can we get on with sticking to the facts? |
