4 New Filings in the Thendic Electronics, et al v. Amiga Inc Case : Comment 249 of 250 | ANN.lu |

IMO there is only one Hero in all of this and that is Petro. He really tried.
Petro is a thief since he gave the AOS 3.1 sources to the MOS team without Ainc's EXPLICIT permission.
The Amiga OS might have been saved if it had been advanced on the X86 processor as time was of the essence. I right now would shell out a considerable amount of money for the Amiga OS if would run flat out on my AMD processor.
I will never buy any DONGLE HARDWARE that will only be a flash in the pan.
That "flash in the pan" is more performant than a dull x86 processor. Read the latest benchmarchs and the latest news about Xbox2: did you know that Bill Gates want a G5 inside it? :-P
If I desired to operate on PPC I would use my SUSE period or buy a MAC.
Using a Suse on a x86 is not the same thing using a Suse on a PPC or a Mac.
I have Colanto but it is slower than " Molasses in January".
Cloanto is speedy, fast and stable, even for a K6...maybe you have a crappy motherboard...
Right now I am putting all of my Amiga stuff in a box, all of my $1000.00's worth of stuff including my ATI 8500 and setting it in the recycle bin.
Give everything to me! I'll put them at good use at this only condition: you must pay the shipping and the packaging.
I will keep my fond memories of a great computer that should not have died but for the selfish interest and bickering of some people.
Namely Bill Buck (Raquel Velasco doesn't even exist) |
