4 New Filings in the Thendic Electronics, et al v. Amiga Inc Case : Comment 71 of 250 | ANN.lu |

I will comment too.
I think Bill McEwen did his share of legal posturing, he should have been prepared to go to court.
There are many people who have obtained judgements against Amiga Inc., the problem is, if you force them into bankruptcy, the debt of Amiga Inc. was apparantly structured so that, Bill McEwen is *owed* more than anyone else. So Bill McEwen individual, expects to get the majority of assets (if any) in the event of an asset distribution.
I don't think Genesi's case has to be good, just be good enough.
It's not frivolous, it may also, not win.
Either way, we can count on the judge to judge it fairly, the judge has no stake in the outcome, except to be perceived as fair. And I think Genesi has already accomplished what it hoped.
Amiga, Inc. didn't even hire a lawyer, and there was no 'round of financing' and no secret backer, that the likes of Mike Bouma and others promised us that they had knowledge of.
Another group of people lose credibility, claiming insider knowledge. |
