I am currently toying with the idea of designing a Zorro card for the Amiga. What would the interest be in a card with the following:
10/100 mbit Ethernet, 2 X High speed serial ports, 1 X ECP/EPP parallel port & IrDa?
There is some preliminary information on my website
I am also looking at the possibility of adding a Zorro to ISA bridge and making the card work in Zorro 2 and Zorro 3 Amigas.
Are there any other features you would like?
If you are interested, please email me. If there is enough interest I will look at making some prototypes and if feasible, a short production run.

Yes Mr Frank, you told us in this Tread http://www.amiga-news.de/de/news/comments/thread/AN-2001-12-00085-DE.html
(sorry german only) that OS 4.0 PPC only is whisfull thinking of us PPC ultraortodox and that PPC is only an Option..
But.. once again, where are the other Options you told us Eh? There is no x86 OS 4.0 and no 68k OS 4.0
So where is the future? No future OS development for Amithlon but future for the PPC Architecture..
But it doesn`t care.. You could still go around and call Pegasos Vapor ware...
As I waited the last years for a new Amiga, I could still wait this Month (ok ok, if you claim the user, than 3 months)
And get new hardware new OS and new Software, which will never come to Amithlon!
(no 68k x86 Version of Papyrus, Motion Studio or epic game porting. Only _one_ Hyperion game which runs on 68k..)
But I know, you are Mister Inside and call me once again a liar.. But i doesn`t matter,Time will show up :-) |
