Pegasos G3 600 Mainboard 650 Euros : Comment 170 of 202 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Raffaele on 24-Mar-2002 11:05 GMT | In reply to Comment 155 (AmiTroll): First, I want to say that is nice to read that the Amiga world is splitting in many corpses like an hydra...
This means more incarnations of the Amiga in various environments:
Amiga One OS4.0
AmigaDE/Anywhere
Amithlon
AmigaOSXL
AROS
Pegasos MorphOS
This seems to me to be a really wealth, for it means that the Amiga culture is spreading all around...
And Second:
For the Amiga Troll who wrote:

Wrong. It is an OS compatible with Amiga OS...
Do you remember the old Dr-DOS for the PC, or the actual replacement for MS-DOS called 4DOS?
Those are OSes compatible with MS-DOS.
No one can say that those "are emulators", same it is the MorphOS in the Amiga environment...
>If it wasn't so

>Instead it's called MorphOS.
have you ever heard of Patent-Properties, Trademarks and so on?
AmigaOS is a trademark of Gateway licensed to Amiga Inc.
MorphOS is a trademark of bPlan...
That is the difference...
Bye,
