Pegasos G3 600 Mainboard 650 Euros : Comment 54 of 202 | ANN.lu |

Fair enough.
>*I did notice the smiley, but as you don't know if Eyetech pays Amiga for "the
>name" the first argument is far out.
The AmigaOne name is subject to licensing from AInc. The reason Pegasos is no
"AmigaOne" was always given as for monetary reasons, or did you hear otherwise?
*As Morphos fans have pointed out on several occasions, the Escena development
was beeing done by one mancheap development... I could say I don't want the
Pegasos beacuse it has been underway for years, this slow development must have
cost a fortune, I don't want to pay extra for that:-)
Not sure what you mean. Pegasos project was first announced around 1 1/2 years ago.
The AmigaOne _is_ more expensive (777Euro vs. 650Euro here) and has no CPU socket
,which would add some 100s of Euro to the retail price according to Eyetech.
>*What choice of CPU's have you got with the Pegasos board?
Today we know the base CPU will be 750CXe with 600MHz. Additionally they announced
a fast G3 (to be 1.3GHz :-) and a (dual) G4 with up to 867MHz.
I won't hold my breath, but that's the information that is currently available.
Maybe they will tell us more next week.
>*When did Hyperion reccomend Pegasos over A1???
I never said they did. In fact they recommended it over the current expensive PowerUP
boards. |
