Amigo follows up on serious allegations about H&P and says: "I also just asked Unisys as it says here, and am waiting for a reply. If true, H&P could probably be forced to close."
[ If H&P indeed didn't pay royalties for Unisys' GIF algorithm, they might not be forced to close per se, but if this is indeed true, and Unisys decides to sue, they might have to pay some serious fines. Also note that while this is not in unmoderated, it's highly speculative, unconfirmed and generally should be taken with the usual grain of salt - CK ]

Serious allegations about H&P : Comment 63 of 164 | ANN.lu |

I think its about time everyone in this "community" (which I'm now leaving due to this continuing bullshit) should sort themselves out.... there are only a limited number of you left which will get smaller and smaller the more you argue about petty, stupid things.
Basically I'd advise companies in the amiga community to not bother talking to the community aside from press statements etc... after all all that happens is 90% of this pathetic community just warp your words. H&P, Hyperion, Amiga just sod the community, most of them have turned into ars*holes now anyway.
Right this will be my first and only post to you bunch of stupid, childish, ignorant, infighting pillocks. I've had enough of you all. You want to see "amiga" sucessful then stop killing it yourselves, morons. |
