Warp3D software render driver : Comment 68 of 158 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Harald Frank on 20-Feb-2002 23:13 GMT | In reply to Comment 64 (Ben Hermans/Hyperion): Hello Mr Hermans,
>You can have all the "talkings" you want, thats not what you claimed,
>you said that Amiga had told us or requested us that we should
>cooperate with you.
>
>This is in fact not true and Sanjay will not contradict that.
Nice try, i *just* had a phone call with Mr. Menon at Amiga and i
can tell you *from him* that you should read his answer email first.
If you do not stop you FUD against us and our product, you will
learn it the hard way, thats for sure.
Funny that ppl from Amiga excuse to me for the stuff you saying
in public.
>You disqualified yourself the day you called Petra Struck from
>Amiga-News.de and demanded that our OS4 progress report be taken
>down immediately because it supposedly contained false and
>misleading information about Soundblaster Live drivers (yes, we
>will have them! Everybody: WE WILL HAVE EMU10K DRIVER SUPPORT INOS4)
LOL, this was a BIG FAT SHOT IN YOUR OWN KNEE !
a.) There was NEVER any demand from me to Petra Struck to take down
ANY of your *false* information at Amiga-News.de.
b.) Petra Struck NEVER told anyone such or similar.
Let me bring you back in reality and tell you what really happened!
I talked to Ms Struck about some points of the OS4 progress report
that was made public on Amiga-News.de and severall other Newssites.
Within that talking i told her that i do not believe on some of the
feature claims that was made there, that was..
a.) No own SBLive drivers because of no documentation. This was told
to me by the CreativeLabs Inc. bosses many weeks ago! No own SB128
driver yet.
b.) That there is NO own generic pci managment system for OS4 that is
needed for some drivers.
c.) That there will be NO native PPC Picasso96 rtg library because you
has not the sourcecode for that, nor that the sourcecode will be made
available to you. Many and HUGE parts of Picasso96 are written in ASM
language, so that it will take many months to write them new in c and
port it to ppc, that will not be done by the Picasso96 team !
d.) Matrox Gfx card support in OS4 that is not useable in any of the
existing Amiga pci busboard solutions because none of these do support
pci-2-pci bridge devices that are present on Matrox G400 and up cards.
Sidenote: Thimoty de Grothe said, that no customer can sue Hyperion
for that promise because it is maybe possible to use these cards in
Pegasos boards (you want chatlog from that ?)
e.) You claim on Picasso96 V3 to be included in OS4.. damn such nice
that Picasso96 V3 is defined by me and only part of Amithlon. So you
can be sure that NO major parts of Picasso96 V3 work i doing here will
be available to you.
These points A to E was said by Petra Struck to be prooven on next day
by phone call to Frieden brothers, and thats all my friend.
;--------------------------------------------------------------------
AND did i overseen some answers from you to my questions some entrys
above or did you now NOT want to answer this in public to proove the
true in these bad game you try to play with us ?
And ah yes, i do realize that you *are* a smart liar with all that FUD
that you try to spread arround here about us and our products.
Regards
VMC Harald Frank |
