"From: Raquel Velasco and Bill Buck. We would like to announce that the next scheduled production of the Pegasos has been sold out. Boards have been set aside for friendly developers, but all others have been sold. Another production of the Pegasos will follow in July." [ Source: Email forward... - CK ]

>Sorry, I couldn't find any host named dev.nil. (#5.1.2)
As it should be.
>Hi!
>The purpose of the email is to have an exchange without the whole world
>involved. That is all. We have had good exchanges with Rob. Ask him.
>And, many others!
Glad for you and Rob. I still won't post my email address here for anyone. As you said before, even you get viruses via email. I don't want any and i wont post an address, simple as that. If that offends you i can't be faulted for protecting myself.
>What you just posted was really off-base. All the Pegasos machines we
>have shipped and the mainboards we will ship this week have
>Northbridges. I ask you how anyone would know this? Did Mai tell him? I
>think not as we speak to them nearly three or four times a week. More FUD!
I havent said anything about what you have or have not shipped and just as much about the northbridge chips. You must have misread the thread and got me confused with Amifan. He mentions the chips in post 120, not me.
>Come on Grunt/Amitroll if you have an issue ask us directly!
No need to get hostile. All i said is i won't post my email address here. If i have an issue, believe me, i'll speak up. :)
But since i have your attention... :)
Your a hardware salesman and i'm a potential customer. If you can offer me a Pegasos that will run AOS4 i'll buy one.(dont make any inferences about MOS here) If not, i'll go elsewhere. Simple issue really. So exactly how many options are there for Pegasos running AOS4? Hyperion claims the work can be done to bring the OS to the board. All that is needed is someone to throw the CD and USB token in the shrink wrapper with the board. Dosent matter to me if it's some company in the USA, if its you, or the old guy from the mountains of Tibet. Who's willing and capeable of doing it?
