"From: Raquel Velasco and Bill Buck. We would like to announce that the next scheduled production of the Pegasos has been sold out. Boards have been set aside for friendly developers, but all others have been sold. Another production of the Pegasos will follow in July." [ Source: Email forward... - CK ]

Next Pegasos production sold out : Comment 193 of 280 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Bill on 09-Jun-2002 13:28 GMT | In reply to Comment 192 (Tony Gore): Hi Tony,
Glad we are back on track with that. We are not trying to force anyone into accepting any OS. The point we were trying to make on this thread earlier is that there are no resellers that have achieved Amiga "approval" for the Pegasos hardware either. Our question to Amiga Inc. and Hyperion months ago was: do you really want to put yourself in this position -- especially in the post-Napster, file-sharing world of today. If we (Thendic/bplan) are not approved and resellers are not approved -- with the current Amiga dongle thinking -- aren't you (Amiga Inc.) shooting yourself in the foot? The Amiga Community is not owned by Amiga Inc. They are usually technically suave people and, and, and...
They did not get it. We tried to explain it to them.
We are not "fighting" any more. We have moved on. We wish them well.
@ Jose
