I am currently being threatened by my former employer (they are "compelled [to] take action against [me]") for the way I am running ANN, and how this allegedly violates my employment contract with them ("interfere _in any manner_ with any business relationship between the Company and any of its customers or business partners"). This might entail drastic changes to the relative freedom of speech ANN has always allowed its visitors, or ANN might close down altogether. Updated 10:00 CET.

"How about we do something more practical: Forgive and forget on all sides. Yes, that means accepting Bill Buck's place in our community. Yes, this means accepting everyones place in our community, even elements we'd rather not have."

How about letting go of the past, cutting the ropes that tie you down.
Accept that Amiga community is a thing of the past for you. There is a new community "MorphOS community"?. It's time for all Morphos/Pegasos/Genesi people to realize that Morphos and Pegasos is products that can stand on their own feet, and you should be proud of them. Dont't try to bring back the good old days with your Pegasos/MorphOS. Instead try to see what good Pegasos/MorphOS can bring you to day. Try to se the great potential in Pegasos/MorphOS instead of trying to make it an Amiga.
I think that if you Morphos/Pegasos/Genesi people focus on what you actually have and what it can be in the future, your products will take off with you.
It's time to cut loose. It's time to be proud. It's time to stand on your own feet. It's time to get your own identity.
You can do it! Try! |
