Say who ? I thought it was already said: We do want to support the Pegasos board. It's firmly planned. Unfortunately, we haven't received a developer board yet, but if we ever get one, OS4 will run on the Pegasos.

But how are things like Directory Opus Magellan legal in that case? They replace the Workbench, while still using the rest of AmigaOS.
Like you can see, it's not all black and white... it's easy to come up with tons of examples of software that supposedly would be illegal too.

I understand MorphOS (release version) will not require parts of AmigaOS...
Of course the betas did require parts of AmigaOS, but Amiga Inc didn't complain about it before... I've read several comments by pro-AInc people that AInc have to sue the MorphOS team, otherwise they could be accused of not deffending their IP - but why didn't they act sooner then?

But WINE would be, and thus also Lindows. (note that WINE possibly doesn't require any Windows dll's anymore by now) |
