Say who ? I thought it was already said: We do want to support the Pegasos board. It's firmly planned. Unfortunately, we haven't received a developer board yet, but if we ever get one, OS4 will run on the Pegasos.

AmigaOS 4.0 on Pegasos : Comment 292 of 510 | ANN.lu |
Posted by DaveW on 16-Apr-2002 06:53 GMT | In reply to Comment 291 (Anders Kjeldsen): No worries - Im not aiming that at you ( I seem to keep getting that wrong ).
I could understand it if people speculated on the outcome but to deny legal facts ( as in cited legal laws, precendence etc ) is just silly. Again not aimed at you just trying to give my view on why Ben is involved in this thread and IMHO he is doing a good job with the signal/noise ratio.
I am more than happy to wait for the trial.
IIRC there was always going to be a successor AmigaOS the debate was to whether it would be a wrapper around Elate or an evolution of AmigaOS. When the uptake of DE was less than expected Amiga Inc just had to change its strategy to bring along as much of the productive element of the existing userbase as possible.
I seriously doubt that such a schism MorphOS/AmigaOS would do too much to dent the profitability of AmigaOS4 and AmigaONE. For me I am going to concentrate on AmigaOS4 and AmigaONE advocacy amongst my peers. Once I get my hands on the board I have ordered I will be showing it off.
I was surprised in as big a company as I work in that so many remember AmigaOS with fondness and are considering buying back into the market for a new personal computer.
