Say who ? I thought it was already said: We do want to support the Pegasos board. It's firmly planned. Unfortunately, we haven't received a developer board yet, but if we ever get one, OS4 will run on the Pegasos.

AmigaOS 4.0 on Pegasos : Comment 303 of 510 | ANN.lu |
Posted by Anonymous on 16-Apr-2002 08:07 GMT | In reply to Comment 61 (darklite): Oh, I forgot to add that, yes it is possible to get a refund on Windows,
however it is not as cut and dried as you try to make it. It is only going
to happen on a very limited basis, and the person trying to get the refund
is going to have to raise all manners of hell to get any money back from
Redmond for a copy of Windows. There are all manners of hoops to jump through,
it will probably take months to do, unless you fly there in person and picket
outside of their headquarters. In the end it is going to be a complete waste of
time, because you will spend more money and time trying to get your money back
then it will even be worth!
Again if was a simple as you make it sound, everyone would burn a copy of thier
Windows CD, copy the serial numbers and send it back for a refund. Very few refunds
will ever be paid out for a refund on Windows, and the people who do push it are going
to wind up losing money when one considers the time and expense involved. So, basically
getting a refund on Windows is smoke and mirrors and nothing but a joke! |
