"This is a demo video of bPlan's Pegasos computer. The video has been created by Thendic-France to give an impression of how the machine runs."

the next ppc amiga : Comment 195 of 359 | ANN.lu |
Posted by DaveW on 20-May-2002 05:42 GMT | In reply to Comment 194 (cOrpse): Look it is good to see that they have taken the time to demonstrate to the "world"
that something under that software stack runs. So the video is shoddy, barely shows
anything phenominal and shows apps we already have running and it relies *apparently*
heavily on AmigaOS4s workbench implementation and the board was only shown running for
a time measured in seconds.
A total cynic could say that the same thing could be demonstrated with a dead board
and Amithlon driving the video display. We could pick holes in it until the cows come home.
Fact is that Pegasos and AmigaONE are both working boards.
Fact is that both MorphOS and AmigaOS4 are work in progress for different reasons.
Fact is that both boards can run Linux.
Fantastic.
Now get them on sale to the general public and allow them to be properly reviewed please.
